Harbor Point Marina Stamford

Hi,

Has anyone stayed at these marinas? There are three - north, east and west. They are currently on dockwa for a dollar a foot.

They say they have multiple restaurants, a free shuttle/trolley to town and water taxi.

Thinking of making a overnight, but, wanted to get the thoughts of someone who has been there.

I was only to Stamford once or twice to the clam shell, but, that was 15 or more years ago.

It is $1 for day dockage.
overnight is $2 - still cheap but twice the price.
I called.
Note that alot of marina's are not making their money on electric.
I have seen as much as $50 a day charged for 50amp service.
So a cheap per foot means little until you add in the extras!
Some places like Montauk throw in a resort fee too.
