Hi, just joined this forum after problems with the old Regal Owners site...

I was hoping to tap the wisdom and knowledge of the Regal owners on site...as I am in need of help.

My a/c waterpump is not discharging water out the port side of my 2665. There is flow into the boat via the seacock and sea strainer...there are no leaks around the a/c pump etc...but what happens when I turn on the a/c is that everything seems to work but no water is discharged out the side of the boat. Instead I get water flowing into the a/c pump cavity from the far aft side of the cavity sort of from some overflow area and water starts to fill up this cavity. (note the a/c pump/ sea strainer is located in the forward part of the cavity which is located below port side portion of the midaft birth)

I can't seem to access where the hose that goes from the a/c pump connects to the discharge port of the boat to see what is going on.

Everything worked fine last year before winterization and since putting the boat back in the water this year I have not gotten things to work. Help from Regal customer service is really slow must be on vacation or something...

I am not sure how to insert images in this forum yet otherwise I would post pictures.

Isn't the A/C discharge hidden behind the fridge ? Just an idea as this is the case with my 2465 , but on the starboard side....

That's the upper clear tube here. Inlet water comes from the bottom clear tube.

Agree with Mouchka. The fridge should be easily removable. Slide it out and check to see if the fitting is broken. Mine was a 2465 as well.

I also removed my frig because I had to replace it under warranty and the a/c discharge is not behind the frig on the 2665 it is further aft...
it is however the approximate location of the sink discharge... thanks for you help...

You should have a bleed valve somewhere in the system incase you loose the prime.
It apears to be open or leaking.

Thanks everyone for your help - I found the problem - on the back side - not visable to me - of the actual heat exchanger the water tube was disconnected during winterization ro drain water out of this unit - the unit is behind doors at the foot of the midaft birth.

...funny I asked the winterization guys if they disconnected anything that I needed to reconnect - answer was no - not sure what the best place to drain this system is? But this one was not obvious at least to me. Maybe a plug at the bottom of the sea strainer?

Best,

Ed
