OK, I'm a little new to boating, so I'm looking for any seasoned advice on this one. Over the winter I had my bass boat in storage in an underground facility. After I picked up the boat today and got her home, I removed the cover and noticed the seats and a couple small sections of the carpet (which I installed new last year) had quite a bit of mold/mildew!
I'm able to remove the vinyl seats for cleaning, but what is the best way to clean the carpet? It's blue in color so I don't want to use anything with bleach for fear it may discolor it. She's not a realy beautiful boat, but it's all I got so I'm looking for any help/suggestions anyone has to offer on dealing with the mold and mildew in the carpet. Thanks.
