Just wanted to say Hi and let everyone know I'm still in Treatment for River Withdrawals! Miss the river real bad! But my doctor "Suggested" I stay away from boating with my new knees. :(
I've had to turn down a couple of invites which really Stinks.
The gas prices wouldn't bother me to much, I'm used to it with a Mustang that gets maybe 12 MPG. If I could just learn how to pull my foot out of the Carb!
Hey Pete B., do you still have your's? E-mail me if you ever want to sell. 2 isn't enough for the wife!
Fair Winds and Following Seas!

Hi ya BiLl, good to see you back. Haven't see your post for awhile.

Bill new knees? Been hanging around with the Soprano's?

Stay positive and get thoes new knees working hopefully better then ever .... Then we will see you out there ...
Get Well Soon ! & a speedy recovery ! Jon

No excuse swabbie. The river is calling. Remember the first first fall foliage cruise to Rondout in 2000? Got that picture of all of us around somewhere, just have to fine it.

Hi Bill!! Good to hear from you. We upgraded to a "newer" 28 a few years back and are enjoying it quite a bit. I cross paths with Elissa (formerly of CBC) quite a bit as they run their Sea Ray 34 up and down the Hudson, and Mark and Mary Kay are back in Kingston with their 37 after a few years down in NJ. Why not pick up an old scow and come stay up on the creek with us??? I know somebody looking to sell a decent 1987 Sea Ray 30 Express for about $23K if he hasn't sold it yet...

Hey John, looking for this.

Hey Bill we were thinking about you two last weekend. Wondering what you have been up to. How come Dr. won't let you on boat? Even as a passanger, sitting? Anyway, we will give you a call. Maybe we can meet up for a bite to eat....but not at the new marina restaurant lol!

That's it Dat. To this day, that was still one of our best trips up the Hudson.

Hey Bill, I hear the folks at the propellor repair shop have been asking about you!

I was thinking the same thing but didn't have the nerve to say it.

Good to hear from you Bill! Glad you finally figured out hot to stop dinging the props (just kidding).

Hey Bill!

Regal, river boating withdrawal is a lifelong affliction!

There is only one cure....

Hey, Bill! What? Mustang? Uh-oh. Not only did he give up boating.... now he's driving "hot rod" F.O.R.D.s. LOL.

Good to hear from ya. Been a long time, huh. Kingston, Catskill....

I remember those cruises up river and one to Fire Island! Still have all the pictures including the one where one could see I needed bottom paint. Saw the new owner of that one about a month ago, still going strong except for the normal stuff.
marsij, I'm actully heading back into the hospital for some out patient work, I have a pin site that won't heal after almost 5 months! You'll be the first to know when I can get back out there!
Nope, No prob wid da trash! Has been a problem since I was about 12. My legs were bowed so bad that when he put the new joints in I grew an inch!
I don't see another boat in the near future, not saying never! Just got to figure out now the run it on water!
Pete, tell her I said Hi.
Yes, Mustangs. I have an 83 Convertible with a slightly built 5.0. #2 is A 2006 in Screaming Yellow with a V-6 that does 95 in the 1/4 mile.
You can check out my website http://groups.msn.com/GardenStateRegionMustangClub/_whatsnew.msnw
Damn, now you guys got me thinking.........! I saw a used cuddy down the street......

Uh oh.... Take care of that pin! And watch out for the river it's just as bad.

Yeah Bill, sounds like you have been going through some "ouchy" times! We are always back & forth about keeping/selling the boat too. Some days it's "never, never will I sell my boat", the next day it's "let's get rid of this thing, we would have so much more money". I think it depends on the stage of the moon, lol!! Gas is expensive but would not sell for that reason. It's the fall, when we have to come up with $6,000 for the next seasons slip fee & winterization/storage. That's quite a bit of money...for us at least.

Anyway, the moon is in my favor today and I am in a "hell no, never sell" mood. Taking it out for a ride tonight. Can't wait. Thinking about it all morning! When you are able, plan on a ride. Maybe a little overnighter in the fall at Catskill??

Just an update, Went in and had the pin hole cleaned out which included removing some of the bone that was infected. Placed a "Pic" in my arm so I can give myself an IV every day for the next 6 weeks! I'm hoping this kills it or it's back into the hosp for more cutting and removal.
But I'm off to Canada next weekend for the first ever Inter-National Mustang show. Lets see if my 2006 can bring home another 1st place!
