Hi
Ran my engines this weekend. I've noticed in the past and is on my list of things to do, that my port oil pressure gauge is pegged. Engine runs well and I always assumed that the gauge was broken. But this weekend I saw it fluctuate a bit. So now it really has me itching to get it fixed. Googling about didn't bring much info other then low pressure.
Anybody have any ideas why pressure would be high (if it is) and where to start troubleshooting? Also thinking about buying an oil pressure check gauge. But how is this used?
Manual says it should be about 10 PSI at idle and 35-40 PSI at speed hot. Engine is 350Q thermocon CC.
