Hitch?

Backing boat down new launch Saturday and bolts on the brackets at the front of bunks on trialer scrape. I only need an inch or so of clearance. If a raise the hieght of the tongue on a higher reciever will that give me any clearnace? Enough? I love the location and if I could fix this one problem that easy it would be great.
