I've had my current boat for 10 years. From day one I can start on the starter battery or both but not the house battery. If I try on the house battery I only get the click click click, I.E. not enough juice to crank, I also notice that when I run the blower it is noticeably slower on the house battery.
Both batteries have always been the same model and size, they both lasted about 8 years before I replaced them two years ago. I'm not suspicious of the batteries them selves since I've never had any other trouble with them.
I'm suspect of the actual wiring to and from the battery selector or even the selector itself. what should I look for to try and trace out the problem?
The switch is a Perko, 1,both, 2, off switch.
thanks,
