Just having a bimini top won't do since I want to run in the fall in upstate NY- -Admiral is cold blooded but warm at heart.
I went to the local boat show a couple of years ago and they wanted close to a couple of thousand to design and apply a top to my boat. The price included an aft and clear view side curtains.
I did some research and found that parts are available for such a project. Have a guy close by whose has one on his boat which is identical to my boat. Just thinking of having a model will help the process.
I'm thinking I'd have to be good at sewing and have almost an industrial machine to stitch that canvas together? Not sure about much but it may be a good winter project since the boat is here in the garage. Any one out there ever attempt such a project? That couple of grand to have it made I think is too much.
