Every time we flush the head (manual pump) we get a strong odor from the vent (directly below seating area). We use holding tank treatment regularly, and pump out and flush the tank regularly. I think I've read about checking/replacing filters in the vent line when odors appear, but I've traced the entire length of the vent line and can't find a filter. Am I off base, or misunderstanding what I read? Is there a filter I can purchase and install in-line in my vent line?
