Do you mean Tarrytown Marina?

TZ Marina is on the left before the bridge and shallow water.

The restaurant at Tarrytown Marina (Striped Bass) is very good. You can eat outside and the view is great. Unfortunately, nothing to do around there. You can have dinner at Cornettas at Piermont and then walk around the town there. It's very nice. Piermont is south of the TZ Bridge on the west side.

Do you know Stu Sutherland (Lady B) at your Marina? It's a retired 82' Coast Guard Cutter.

Yes, I did mean the Tarrytown Marina - sorry!

Yes i know Stu from the Lady B, his boat is about 50 feet from mine
so Tarrytown Marina would be the best bet?

If winds are light and mostly from the west you can stay on the hook. I've anchored between the Piermont pier and the Tappan Zee bridge.

We like the anchorage north of Croton Point. It is pretty and good holding. At your speed, you can make it there fine rb2@gr5t6kn, especially if you go on an incoming tide, which makes a big difference when going up the Hudson. (We have started/ended this very trip from Great Kills, about 40NM) Friday sets up well for you as max flood at Tarrytown is around 1:30 PM, with slack before flood at the Statue of Liberty at 8:30am. Then, if you have 4 days (I note however you said Fri-Sun) you can make it from there to Kingston (50NM). We like the town dock at Kingston because you can walk right into town, with plenty of good restaurants, shops and the river museum. If not just go up to West Point or so on Saturday and turn back near slack tide for a twilight cruise; gorgeous trip.

Have Fun!
