Damn, One of the hull fittings was cleaned with a wire brush wheel. It was chromed (I think) it looks like Brass now? The fitting itself is in good conditon & I don't want to remove it. I'd like to see it chromed not brass in color?
Any suggestions on how to make it Chrome Color again?

Are you sure it was chrome and not green? If all the other ones are chrome then it probably was. If not.....

To answer the question posed, the only way I know of is "Spectra-Chrome" Google chrome paint.

If it was a thru hull fitting that was below the water line; it was probably brass or bronze. Either way; fish are color blind (not true) & won't care if it's chrome or brass.

It is a thru hull discharge but for the Galley Sink. It sits about a foot above the Boot Stripe line. All the rest are Silver color except this one.

More than likely chrome plated. I guess you could try one of the chrome paints. But my guess is you'll have to replace it at some point if you want it to match the others.

It really shouldn't be brass. Brass will disintigrate over time in salt water. Bronze will not.

Are you going to tell us who did it? Who was supervising?

You can paint it silver or you can paint the rest bronze color or you can paint them all black or the color of your choice.

Or you can replace it for a few $$.

Due to cheap labor $80.00 + Lunch for the day I will not complain about things they don't know. It's my fault for not being there. He thought he was doing good & all I said was thanks.

Did they speak English? ;)

You say you don't want to replace the fitting but that's the only way to make it right. They aren't that expensive. I think I would have someone else do the work, though.

They did if every answer was the same...Si? You understand English? Si. No Habla English? Si. Either way. Si :) I left to get more (4 Gals) bottom paint. By he time he was done scraping & brushing off all the Barnacals it was too late? Still, a very nice job. My test run was back at 28.5 knots SOG into the wind. I could only get 14 knots with the bottom & running gear full of the barnacles.
