i have a 14ft fiberglass runabout . after an extensive rebuild last spring . i was ready for paint . after typing with interlux . i painted with "brightside copolymer" both above and below the water line . they advised me that this was ok to do if i didn't leave the boat in tha water longer than 3 days . the boat is mostly trailered and always fresh water . they didn't tell me what would happen if it's in the water longer . my fiance and i are planning a week long honeymoon on the trent severn . can someone tell me if it's ok or do i have to use an antifouling paint ? will the paint soften ? will it peel off ? will it leech into the water system ?
