Just wanted to remind everyone the HVMTA is having there boat show this weekend at Haverstraw Marina. I understand there will be quite a few boats in the water to be seen.

Everything from Speed to Cruise will be there.

I Know Sunsation, Chaparral, Sting Ray and Sea Rays are there and Im sure others as well.

The Striper tournament is also going on this weekend at the marina. I know I will be out there looking for that $100,000 fish...

I was speaking to Robin in the Haverstraw office and as of last weekend they planed on having 34 boats ranging in size from 19 to 48 feet. These are the in water boats, I imagine there may be others on land.

Reading the add there will be New and used boats so it should be a good show. They are both onland and in the water. Also it looks like vendors will be setting up..

Haverstraw did this years ago and it was always a good show, with lots of vendors set up in the parking lot. Let's hope it's the return of something good.

Remember the last April show they did Pete, it snowed! I remember sweeping the snow off mine & Marylou's boat & almost breaking my neck. Non skid surface not so non skid in snow!!

Judy;

If I recall it was 70 degrees on Saturday and snow on Sunday. We stayed on board, kept brusing snow off of the camper canvas and kept the coffee pot perking.

You have to love boating.

Speaking of Marylou, Haverstraw was a much better place with her than without her.

It sounds like it should be a good one. From what I understand Haverstraw is only the site its being held at. The Hudson Valley Marine Traders Association is organizing it. They are also doing one in June in Newburg. They ran the one in Haverstraw last year I think it was in June. They have done well in the past so it should be a good one. Now as far as snow, you never know, it is April yet...

That's right Pete, it was 70 on Sat. & snowing on Sun. Marylou was flipping out!!! What a bizzare weekend that was!

If anybody is in the tournament, the captains meeting is tonight...8Pm...

I'll be at the boat show, then at the marina keeping all the "fishing widows" happy!

Visited the show yesterday and met up with several RO's. The show was pretty slow but I think that's to be expected on a rather raw and overcast Friday afternoon.

Oh and Butch, Pattie finally stopped shivering ;)

Who would have thought we were in the 80's 2 weeks ago...
