Defender has various pumps including Par's in the $200-300 range. Pricey, I also saw similar ones fail early in life so rule them out. West Marine has one on sale for $90-- looks nice. Do not know who made the thing but West Marine for sure did not. BoatFix has a Jabsco 2.9 gal/minute, quiet on demand pump for less than $80.
I think I want to keep my budget in the $100 range but I guess I could be convinced to spend more if necessary. Right now I am leaning towards the BoatFix Jabsco. Just maybe this thing will be quiet enough to remove the need for an accumulator tank-- another thing I might have to purchase.
