Color Blind is thirsty. It's been too too long. Poor thing... Poor me...

Oh stop whining Shane.[:-weepn]

There's NO reason you can't splash CB if you really have the desire. A few bucks for a (what was it- a shift?)cable, a couple days of elbow grease and you'll be all set!
You KNOW about the half-price slips here- what'cha waiting for? I KNOW you have a dinghy, so that's no excuse....
"Winter Dream" needs a new neighbor!

wait just a minute...Did someone say HALF PRICED SLIPS??? I am all over that!

Shane,
The Bay just isn't complete without an orange Bayliner! ;)

Settle down- there's a catch to the cheap slips (of course).[:-boggled]

HdG City Dock has one pier on Tydings Island that has no utilities. That means NO water or electric. In addition, the water is pretty skinny over there and the weeds can get thick later in the season.

The town rents them for half of the regular slip rate (which is currently $45/foot), but there's normally enough water for I/O boats and retractable-keel blowboats. One of my slipmates kept a Regal 27 on the island for a couple years.

WHOAH! I am currently in the ISLAND at my marina, and trust me, there are not picnics there...though on somedays there could be. I do not wish to collect seashells from my platform ever again.

you know, I think anything that floats and could have an outboard on it, is a dingy. Don't you have an old bathtub or something you could slap that on? :D

besides, I know yours is thirsty but you can always go with me...I'll even let you drive as long as you bring the red headed toddler with you. :)
