We decided to take a ride out to check on the boat yesterday.

Ice is forming pretty thick across Selby Bay and Ramsay Lake areas. The wind is keeing the current moving enough in a lot of areas but the marina is iced in. Fortunately, there are only a handful of boats still in the water and there are two bubblers keeping them clear.

The rivers still seem clear and the middle of the Bay as well. But there is some pretty significant ice along the eastern shore at the Bay Bridge Marina.

I was at Kent Narrows (Pinney Narrows Marina) which was pretty well iced in (maybe 1"). Here in Inner Harbor there is no ice as the wind has kept the formation down and it is naturally a bit warmer. Water temp here is 33-34 tonight.

The upper Elk River is pretty frozen. I have pictures but do not know how to upload them on this site.
