I tried a friend's set of IS binoculars a few years ago, and was highly impressed. Push the button and jittering stopped. Period. Impressed by the price, too, so have held off. Now I see that Cabela's is offering a Canon 8x25 IS bino for $300.00, and it's a lot more tempting. I regard Canon as a good brand, too. Has anyone had experience with these ?? Seems like a 25mm objective would be limited in field of view and in light gathering power at twilight. Then again, 8X is very useful as a general purpose glass, and with IS.......?? Thoughts ??
