I saw a few guys online make some pretty neat designs for their inflatables. Anyone have anything interesting? Tried the bow can't see on my express cruiser. Swim platform is tiny. But I'm not apposed to tipping the oat on its side. Someone hhad stalks rings on hinges for sale. Unfortunately they are 800 bucks. Can't justify spending that.

Any ideas?!

Bill, I will be looking to do the same thing, can't put the dink on the bow either. Also can't leave it on the platform while docked. For now going together a large dock box or Home Depot box, and deflate with floor left in, then just going to throw in cockpit before we head out and inflate at anchorage.

On thing to be careful of, there are a few systems out ere which mount to swim platform, when disconnected they leave a hook protruding from the platform...there was a story a while back where a guy slipped off his platform and literally castrated himself. I think one of the maxum expresses at the other end of your dock has one of these.

Yikes. We don't need any of that!

I have the engine mount on the transom already. So in efforts to keep from over loading my bolt on platform that is only 2 feet wide I will probably pop the motor off for transport. I saw a guy use composite boards contoured to the shape of the dink hull and strapped it down. A friend of mine thinks we can utilize the holes for the teak inserts as a mounting point for the pieces of composite. This way once at anchorage we can pop them off leaving nothing to worry about on the platform. We will see!

I have to stop by tonight or tomorrow. Didn't get a chance to on your free weekend last week. We anchored out and then I was fed since it was my birthday the 26th. You down tonight?

I installed the Dinghy Ramp XL on my last boat. Very nice design but pricy. You can google their website.
