Greetings from the colder North!!! We're thinking about comin' down from our usual anchorages in the Hudson for a week's vacation on LBI. Ideally, we're looking for a marina within walking distance to activities our 10 & 7 year olds' would enjoy (amusements, arcade, and of course the Beach!) WE're thinking the last week or so in August.
We'd be looking for standard amenities at a marina (elect, water, showers; laundry a plus), and would rather walk to daily activites, rather than take a cab.
Any suggestions on marina's close to activities, etc., would be appreciated. Where would YOU stay for a few days if you were travelling??
