My old boot has seen better days. I picked up a new one, then realized I need to disconnect a lot of stuff to replace the new boot. I need opinions. Should I cut a slit in the new boot and wrap it around the cables, then install it? OR disconnect everything and slip on the new one? Has anyone done this?
