Insurance survey is coming, any tips?

My insurance company is sending a survey company, I have some abrasions down near the fiberglas, decal scratches broken light, probably not enough to cover the $750 deductable, there is water on my engine block so I'm concerned about water intrusion cause the boat was strapped to a trailor with the bildge drain plug out. How would you handle this situation? I think it may only get to $750 and then my insurance goes up pretty much for nothing..

Pull the dip stick and check. If your oil level was correct before but is now over-full, there could be water at the bottom. If you have an out drive, that will need checking as well. Water can enter from inside the boat through a vent. If there is water inside the drive, you can count on a full service including gimbol bearing.

Do you have a water line in the engine compartment that would indicate how high the water was?

No good on any of that, my dear brother who is the most awsome guy around asked them to winterize it for me as a xmas gift, so they drained the oil and serviced the outdrive while I was away on vacation, so I don't know what state its in, but I'm sure they would have said something. I have leaves all over the place, but not to many, and there is no water line to see. The water on the engine block I don't know where it came from, thinking of tasting it to see if its salty, yukkk!

Could just be rain water.
