Interesting AIS track of a containership grounding

This seemed pretty interesting since it included the tugs' traffic that refloated the container ship. I would have never thought it would have included wiggling a container ship like this. The screen goes black for a second but wait it out.

I'm thinking something went wrong mechanically etc. because it's tough to imagine everyone on the bridge went for a coldy and let it run aground.

It was pretty cool like that. Obviously the time lapse sped things up quite a bit which made it amusing to watch.
 
good thing we didn't have a US Navy ship nearby
 
It has happened here in the Chesapeake Bay also.
A ship left port without a Bay Pilot on it, ran aground and had to have the coal cargo unloaded to re-float. What a price tag that must have been.
 
Looks like someone is going to be out of a job. Harbor pilot? Or captain for not doing what the pilot told him to do.
