I own an older 30' Sea Ray (1985). I have noticed that mant of the newer Sea Rays have beautiful highly glossed wood interiors that looks very nice. Is it feasible to take my dulled wood/vaneer that is prevelent throughout my boat, and give it that updated shiny gloss look?

It could be done. But it would be very difficult unless you could pull all the wood out of the boat and have it refinished with a spray on high gloss finish. On larger yacht we have specialists come in and bag the whole interior to spray on a high gloss finish. Can be a major PITA and very costly.

You might get some of the look you are going for with a brush on finish done while the wood remains on board. But it would be difficult to get that high gloss polished out plastic finish look.

Personally, I think that type of finish used on all the wood surfaces on board makes the wood look fake.

I have a lot of wood in my boat, also older, an '87. 2 coats of varnish really brought it back to life. Does it look like a new yacht, no, but a whole lot better.
