Jabsco vs Raritan Crown Head

We are researching whether to replacing the two Raritan Crown Heads we currently have on our boat with a Jabsco product, which has been recommended by our boat repairman. Has anyone had experience with either or both of these units. He is also recommending hooking up to fresh water vs raw water. Any opinions will be considered. We have only had experience with Raritan on all of our boats. They are very noisy and the impellers seem to go out on a regular basis.
