Jones Inlet Marina

I can't see them splitting up.....Marine Max paid MILLIONS for the SS3 name..........just my thinking.

Don, from what Ive heard over the last two years marine max is still selling a decent amount of larger boats and a lot of the smaller ones.

The do have an office in Huntington, and the man in charge, Mike Lennon (SP), is a wonderful person, he is a no BS guy, and truly will work hard for you for the best deal possible.If he can't make it happen, it does not exist. He is a real gentleman and very easy to work with.

All though the old Surfside crew was not perfect, they are head over heals to the new Marine Max. A lot of talent Marine Max let go, but there are still a bunch there that are good people.

Don sold to CVS they want the two properties next to it to make a big drugstore swindlehurst is fighting it
 
CVS ????.........just what we need .....another drug store. I heard ( rumor ) that South Side fish was looking at it....to move their operation. I guess not.

SouthSide Fish opened a joint in my neck of the woods about a year and half ago, now they are closed???
 
I heard Southside wanted Islander boats but that fell through.

Yeah....the place over here in Lindenhurst...isn't as crowded as it use to be on a Friday & Saturday night.........too bad.
 
Lou.....is that what it was....the Islander building ?.....I heard the old theater. AHHHH....that would have been great........South Side on the water...would have given Dockside a run for the $$$$......but the Islander building has better dockage.........too bad !!!
 
They closed up....the building is for sale.....from what I understand SS3 took over the bayliner dealership.
 
Don Yes the one on the water. Dockside has ads that they are under new ownership.
 
Really ???........maybe the food will get better now ( lol ).........I havent been there in awhile.....maybe I'll go next week for lunch and check it out.
 
Walter, I agree about Mike Lennon. He is first rate.

I'm not sure about what happened to Gina. More importantly, is Nicole still there. Who could forget her bikini dancing at the last Aquapalooza? :)

G is being a great MOM. She miss;s everyone so. But had a chance to stay home and raise her kids! Cant fault her for that. She knows everyone wish's her well...

Mike Lennon is a mans man! I love the guy to death. Cant forget Bruce Parker either! Great guys !

Nicole is still there. Planning the next round of events im sure !

Just went by Jones today and there is indeed a sign that it is reopening under new management. Rumor has it a father and son who are not experienced marina operators are taking it over. Could be good or bad.
