Well it was the first time out on the water and it ran great for about 3-4 miles throttled up fine and down ran good got to a no wake zone and slowed. When I went to throttle up again it start to go then just quit. When I went to re start it was weak sounding like it was tough for the engine to turn over. I just put a new battery in the boat so I knew it wasn't that. Flaged someone down and towed me back to dock got there and it sounded stronger for a bref moment the sounded weak again. It has a GM 6 cyl. and don't know much about it. I am a jetski mechanic and know a little. Since it is like a car engine I was affared of a blown head gasket. but the oil looked fine no water reminence. pulled the main (large) cooling hose from water pump and found that it was corroded inside but not cloged and there was water in it. The water was clear with no oil. Please advise what to do.
