I need a new axle, spring and tires for my 14' fishing boat trailer. I was quoted a price of over $800 in parts alone for OEM, not including freight. Upon my sticker shock they tried to upsell me to a new trailer. The problem is the axle is so thin walled that the spindle ends bent up from normal use. It was bent with the first two years of ownership, which has caused premature tire wear. I rolled the axle position and then it bent the other way. King Trailers has one crappy design here and I don't want another one from KING aka "best saltwater trailers". The local auto part saved the day with a generic axle kit and tires for less than $400. When I have this kind of experience it makes me feel bad for the person who says they can not afford to own a recreation boat. It's a throw away world... and this time the boat dealer won't get a dime.
