The 7.3 KW Kohler Generator on our 1999 Carver 350 Mariner is a piece of junk. When one thing gets fixed something else goes bad. It either doesn't start or starts and runs for awhile and dies. I know of several other people with this generation of Kohlers and they have the same problems. Is there any hope or should I use it as an anchor? It probably wouldn't work for that either. Anti syphon valves have been checked, an in-line fuel pump added, fuel lines reduced, etc, etc. It has less than 200 hours on it which is in part because it rarely works.
