I am replacing all my 20w halogen bulbs in the boat with 2W G4 LED , 3000K WARM WHITE , 80Ra.
I have purchased some but they are non dimmable, they will work with the rest of the boat. I need dimmable for the salon. Does anyone know where I can source these?
 
Most LEDs are dimmable. Do you know for sure that those are not? Typically, you have to replace existing dimmer with a digital dimmer switch which is more expensive.
 
I checked the web sites for LED bulbs and the ones I purchase said they are non dimmable.
I found some but they are too long.
 
Try a web search on "G4 LED" and "dimmable". I found a lot of ads and some garbage, but I did find dimmable G4 LEDs. Not knowing exactly what you are looking for, I think it's best that you do the search yourself. They do seem to be available though.
 
I have been on every web page during my search, there is a lot of products.
My halogen lights in my boat are 33mm - 1.29 " , the ones listed are longer and won't fit the fixture. Has anyone found a correct size for dimmable?
