Sorry I've been away a lot, very busy with work and Family... I am actually going to work a couple of boat shows this year (Charlie pulled me aside the other day, guess he cant get rid of me LOL) so I'll let you all know...
Meanwhile, I wanted to put this message on here in case anybody is interested in attending. The Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce is hosting a town hall-style forum on Taxes (MTA Tax, etc) on this coming Thursday, January 28 at 12 Noon at Fratelli II in Mahopac. It will be a luncheon meeting, admission $20 (to cover the cost of the lunch) and anyone is invited. Assemblyman Ball, Senator Leibell, reps from the Mahopac School Board, Congressman Hall's office, Putnam County and Town officials, the Dutchess County Legislature and others will be in attendance. It seems a worthy thing to do to at least make our voices heard, and maybe allow us to take some of that money that is headed to Uncle Sam or NY State and put it back in our gas tank...
