Anyone have a reasonably priced handy man? I have a co-op in Long Beach that I am going to do some work to. Need walls painted, some walls are cracked and need them fixed. Also, need one french door hung, and carpet ripped up.. Nothing crazy, just do not have the time to do it myself.

Thanks

B/C.......I just hired a painter ( that was recomended by my buddy )......to paint a few rooms and clean things up around here.....so I can list the house this spring. He will start sometime this month. If he does a decent job.....I'll send you his #.

thanks Don

Looking to have this work completed by the 2nd week of Feb...

Was he reasonably priced? The super in the building had given me a price, I thought it was a decent price, but I just dont know what kind of work he does...

B/C.....hard to say........he's painting 2 rooms including ceilings and all the trim/doors in the entire house ( 6 rooms ).....alot of sheetrock patching in boiler room and laundry room ( where I ran new electric ) for $1K including all wall & trim paint. He said he'll be here for 3 days. Sounded OK to me.....as long as I don't have to do it !!!!

I seen his work at my buddy's place and it looked fine.

1000 for all that seems pretty reasonable. Trim and doors are very labor intensive, due to it taking time...

let me know how he does..
