Local over night places

Yup I hit the poles coming in just to make sure they will be sturdy enough to hold my boat. LOL...

The poles are like the bumpers they use for the little kids in the gutters at the Bowling Alleys. I thought they were there to guide and help you in to the slip......LOL..........
I have twin engines too. But they are also I'O's that spin the same way so I get zero benefit in handling around the dock.
That coupled with the fact that my home dock is a fixed bulkhead that I tie up alongside to (which makes me real rusty) make for a sometimes interesting, if not somewhat entertaining, experience on the rare occassions that I have to back in to a slip.
The best is the guys standing on the dock with a cocktail in their hands commenting and giving directions about how I have two motors and should be able to handle the boat differently.
Things are not always as they appear.
