It's been a long winter, we have done a ton of updates and upgrades I can't wait to launch. When do you plan to launch? I hope to be in on the 15th.
I hope everyone has a great and safe boating season!

Im also looking at around April 15th-
adding another floating dock to the home slip and hope to get it done in time

Do you still keep it in Greenport?
Hey Dave,

Sold my house in Huntington about a year ago and moved onto the Voyager in Greenport, found a very small house in Center Moriches on a crick with deep water for the area and moved the boat there. Problem was that although I have 7+ feet most of the local bay is 5’ or less and my draft was just under 5’. Sold the Voyager and picked up another 41PC with far less draft and I can single hand it with no issues- so my boat sits in the back yard which doesn’t Sux!
the Voyager at the house just before i sold it

Wow a lot of changes!
I hope you are enjoying both the house and the new boat!

I'm on a trailer, so the plan is to drop it off at my mechanic friend's house this weekend so he can get everything ready to go...

The lakes are defrosting steadily...

I am stuck in the back of the building, so a bunch need to leave first. Weather sux anyway. And gives me time to do the projects I failed to do over the winter. :)

Both my boats are waxed, just need to do some bottom painting today and I will be ready to splash.

My boat goes in for a new Bimini top next Saturday. When that is done I bring it to a marina where it will be kept on a rack. I'd prefer a slip but those are hard to come by where I am in Delaware.

What is this "season" you all speak of?

We're in year-round, but now we have a houseboat. We've had mid-80s in the last two months and we're heading for a high of 94 on Thursday. The water's still around 55, though, so no swimming. (We're also "dock Marys" for awhile because we burnt an impeller and it may be awhile til it can be attended to.)
