Went to look at a very clean sundancer with a mechanic, prior to survey. everything looked ok, however i noticed a steady stream of water coming in through the exhaust port going under the boat. This port is the same material and color as the bilge area and around 5 " high, then its clamped on to a wide hose. the part that was leaking is a pinhole 2" above the base of the hull on this fiberglass "pipe". the bilge pump would remove the water, then I saw the leak again. Has anyone else seen or had this issue on these boats. Im assuming a good surveyor will tell me if its structural or not. But if someone went through this exact issue, I can save myself on a survey and continue my search for another boat. Any advice would be appreciated. Also if there is any other problems with this year and style boat, I would appreciate that info also. This is twin V drive fresh water cooled inboards with 380 hours.
