Has anyone any experience with marine tex boat armor-easy on bottom coating? Would it protect an unpainted hull from dark cedar water stains? Any other products to use?

For what's worth;
I waxed on half of my bow with the armour-easy on the the other with my usual Collinite. The boat is rack stored and got it's first wash of the season today. There was no difference, if anything the brown waterline stain was worse on the easy-on side.
