I have a Silverton 45c, 2007. Don't know the model of the Windless, guess I need some mirrors to view such in the anchor locker. I found the manual that came with the boat and see there were two different types named "liberty", so that picture will help to identify my model , I hope.

The "stripper" took a dump and I need to replace such. On the manual I have from the previous owner, he made note that "Maxwell" is now owned by Vetus.
My question is:
Source to buy parts?
And anyone ever do this (fix this model)?

Thanks
Walter

Defender will special order the parts for you. You can also order directly from Maxwell. I ordered some drive pins for mine a month or so ago and I'll see if I can find the contact info for you Walter.

BTW - I had to change the stripper when I first got my boat. Was around $250 IIRC.

Actually, Maxwell referred me to a place in Florida that was VERY helpful. http://rigginghydraulics.com/

I spoke to a guy named Tim. His email is tim at the above domain. I needed a couple of $3 or $4 roll pins which he shipped right away. I was very surprised at the attention to detail for such a small order.
