Have a Mercury 350 MAG. As part of winterization, have always made a recommended fuel/2 cycle oil mixture which I introduce into the system using a separate tank during flush out. I was watching a show recently where they just added 2 cycle oil to a new fuel/water separator and ran engine for 15 minutes. This seems easier but is it the right way?
