I think it is important to recognize the people that make a business what it really is.

There are so many products out there that are "just ok" because of the crappy service/support that we receive from their "customer representatives".

There are a few exceptions where a great product is supported by great people.

This is one of those exceptions - I currently own a Monterey 248LSC and am patiently awaiting the arival of my new 2007 Monterey 298SC.

I want to commend Henry (I hope that was his name - only spoke to him once) on his enthusiasm and exitement when he found out what I was having built at their facility; he went on about test drives and how the boat handled and how nice it was and how much he enjoyed what he did for a living (it was obvious).

There is the dealership that thank god I stumbled upon in Portsmouth Virginia - Bills Marine - that is run by the nicest people on the planet. Bill, Judy, Travis, Shawn, and Tommy (I know I am leaving a couple out that I can't remember - sorry) that from the front door in sales to the side counter for service and parts once again obviously love their job, have a sense of humor, treat you like an appreciated customer and will do pretty much do anything you would expect to make you a happy and satisfied customer.

-and- I saved the best for last. They have a young lady working for Monterey that is just awesome, she has put up with me and my atticipation for the arrival for the new boat and answered questions that I don't think many other people could. From technical specs to customer feedback, new additions to the model line and what to expect. Absolutely awesome - I'm not sure if I could ever do the same.

My hat's of to you Sue K!!

So....Monterey, not only do you have a great product, but you have a sales and support force that really makes the difference.

Kudos to you and your company!

Sincerely,

Jason Shepherd
