Ok this year will be my first time using a mooring for a few over night stays in Hamburge Cove and block island. Since my wife and I will be sleeping on the boat I want to make sure I hook up as safe as possible. What is the best way to hook up to a mooring? do I use my bow lin or is their line provided on the mooring I should use? How do I avoid chafe my 2 big concers would be chafe because my anchor hangs over my bow and chafing my lines if I run them through the eye on the mooring?
