Motorized surfboard???,

Three guys were buzzing around the local marina on what looked to be motorized surfboards.
They were standing up and zipping all over the marina but too far away to see much detail.

Looks like a great fun new water toy. Anyone see them yet?

I've never seen one but they have been around for years.

I saw a couple in outer Vineyard Haven harbor last summer. I could see there was a cabled hand throttle attached to the "bow" and they moved right along.

The gas powered surf board have been around for a few years. A bit loud and have to deal with issues related to small gas motors

I have never seen the ONEAN before. Even cooler are the electric foil boards motor is in the foil and you ride 18” above the water out of the waves. A little over $10k though

Neat stuff. I wonder how they keep a gas motor from being drowned?
