Need a painter

Any recommendations for a good (yet reasonable) painter in the bay area/delta area that is experienced painting boats? I want to repaint a 22' fiberglass speedboat. I've been told painting boats with today's marine products is quite a bit different than painting cars.

Call/visit Bill Ament at Ament Marine Service. Located at the east end of Vieira's Resort near Isleton with a second facility near Walnut Grove, I heard. He did hullsides for me last time. Wood or glass, this guy is an artist and will recommend you to good shops if you want special detail work. His son Dorian excells in engine work and I've seen incredible boatwrighting from Casey. Is this a wooden boat? If so, contact Jim Senior on Bethel Island. He has many years of restoring wooden boats and is a judge each year at the Concour de Elegance Wooden Boat Show in Tahoe. A true expert in his field!

Thanks but it's a 22' fiberglass boat. I need someone with experience spraying over gelcoat but wood boats require a high level of expertise. If I had a classic woody, I'd want only the best working on it.
