Hello All,
I'm planning on taking 1 week vacation around March 20 and trailering our Albin 25 from Jacksonville over to the west coast of FL. We are not too familiar with the area. What we are looking for is this:
1. A marina where we can rent a transient slip and park our boat and trailer. A shower and bathroom would be nice too.
2. Must be somewhat near a boat ramp where we can launch the Albin and motor to the marina. Or, if they want to pull it off with a travel lift, I think thats ok too.
3. We will probably dock most nights, but will want to anchor a night or two if we can find a cove, or key that holds well.
4. We'd like to be able to motor to a Key, sandbar or something where we can beach the boat, anchor close and swim over to walk, swim and explore (we have 4 and 6 year old girls).
5. We think we'd like to be somewhere between Tarpon Springs and Fort Myers.
If anyone can help with suggestions, It would be much appreciated.
