We want to replace our stove/oven combo in our boat. We have an ancient Magic Chef that was original to the boat...45 years ago. The guy doing our refurb has found a Dometic that doesn't get great reviews, mostly about condition upon arrival, but it fits in the space. What products do you recommend?

Stove oven combo are so outdated. Put a glass top (2 burners is enough on a smaller boat) and a convection / micro / hood) above it. That s what I have done on my 53. Works great.

i ve been using GE Profile convection/ micro for years now. Even on the bigger boats I run on charters and we cook or bake a lot.

I'm constrained by the current configuration. Storage above the stove top and limited counter space . Only place for oven is below counter.

Well a double burner glass top will give you more counter space. I hate lower ovens... I remove a cabinet on my boat to fit the oven and built a new cabinet under the cooktop.

First, we need to know if you have a propane system on your boat. If you do, Force 10 is by far the market leader in marine propane stoves and that's what I would recommend.

Electric stoves limit you to cooking at a slip or running a genset. But, you really have to go with whatever works on your boat.
