Our flybridge top self destructed due to being old and vinyl. It was dark blue as is the rest of the canvas around the aft deck and isenglas trim. The remaining canvas is actually canvas and in good shape. We're considering changing the FB top to camel color to reduce heat but if we do the boat canvas will be multi color and kind of goofy looking until we have to replace the rest. I know that if we do the dark top, that in the winter, with the isenglas closed we'll stay warmer which would be a good thing. My question is; in the summer with the isenglas open, will the dark top keep us significantly hotter? Our last boat had the camel color top so I just don't know.
