New Dash panels

HI this is my first post here and I just bought a
2001 sunseeker superhawk 50. The dash panel for the gauges is faded and the one for the gps has old furuno units on it so i have to replace it in order to put one new unit on the panel.
Can anyone suggest a place that does these wood panels.
BTW I live in CA.

I had the same problem with my Wellcraft and tried several manufacturers to make a panel. None of them were very responsive so I struck out there. I actually found the original panel, thanks to another boat ed user, at The Marine Connection, phone number 772-465-6460. I got all of the original panels (without gauges) for a little over $100 vs. the one quote I received for someone to make them was over $500. Evidently, this company purchases a lot of boat manufacturers left over stock when the boat manufacturer decides to stop stocking the part.
 
I have the same problem with my boat and called the manufacture and they no longer make them for my boat so I'm left with looking for someone who can make new panels for me. You can try Team Marine at 608-525-8326, They specialize in dash boards and may be able to help. I called this company yesterday and he told me if I ship him my old panels he will make new ones and coat both sides to give them maximum protection.

If wood, you may need a cabinet maker. If plastic laminate call Scott did mine. He did mine. The product he used was better than original. He will want to use your dash as a template so you should do your work when both the boat and you have the time. It is no small task pulling and reinstalling.
 
I just checked out some SS50 pics and I think I saw laminate-not wood. Also, there appeared to be three maybe four panels. If you proceed I'm sure you will want to do the new panel and nav install ONCE. I would check with Scott re his schedule and turn around time. Also have lots of wire labels and a helper. It can be done by anyone (I did it.) but it takes time, patience and good note taking!
