Same for the Houston Boat Show. It has always been a huge show which a few buddies and I have gone together for 30+ years. I did hear a few weeks ago they may have struck a deal to combine with the Houston Auto Show but I've not seen any public announcements yet.
As I think you may have mentioned previously, our local Marine Max dealer has customer owned boats displayed in their show room for the same reason. I did see ONE brand-spanking-new Grady White sitting in the parking lot last week. First I've seen in a long time.
Saw notification that the Miami show was still on in Feb. Too COVID risky right now to go, will miss the boys trip to FLA this year to oogle over boats for a few days.
I bet the 'green activists' in NYC will cancel the Javits Center show, except for sailboats lol. They are already forbidding new gas stoves to be installed and restricting natural gas service. Like I said in other posts its starting, restricting energy choices till they get their way. They will be backed into a corner and talking about going back to nuclear in 5 years or so. Mark my words.
I'll take carbon over plutonium any day. Plutonium never forgets your mistakes.
NYC boat show will not have enough boats on display to interest anyone, I wanted to go and buy a new boat, but no/few boats will be on display, besides they require covid vaccine proof! Wish for the good old days!
