Remember the New York State ETHAN ALLEN disaster last year ? Well it is now up to the lawyers.
ALBANY---There's a lot of finger pointing going on concerning the capsizing of the tour boat Ethan Allen last fall on Lake George and the deaths of 20 senior citizens.
According to another one of the players in the tragedy, now it's the fault of the U.S. Coast Guard.
A claim filed by the Scarano Boat Building of Albany who performed modifications to the 38-foot boat including changing the canopy and installing plexiglass windows around the boat says that the Coast Guard acted improperly by certifying the boat's stability to carry 50 passengers some 40 years ago in 1966.
Scarano is being represented by attorney Neil Goldberg.
