Leaving in the AM for the National Houseboat Expo, in Louisville, KY (pronounced Loo-a-vul). And I don't bring a laptop with me when I'm out of town. Ever! Fact is, I don't own one and have no desire to ever get one. Laptops don't offer me any "snob appeal" whatsoever, as they sometimes do to others...
So anyway, I won't be back on the Forum until next Wednesday or Thursday. See y'all then!
Hell, I've only had a cell phone for the last few years - I held out as long as I was able. But my widowed mother took ill in 2001, finally passing away in September of 2002. So, as an only child and having Power of Attorney for her, I had to get one at that point in order to be available to the doctors, nurses, hospital, nursing home, etc. at any time of the day or night. But if it hadn't been for that, I probably still wouldn't have one. I absolutely REFUSE to be chained to my job - when I'm off, I'm off! (The company DOES NOT have my cell pone number on file).
