Well here I go telling the story, I just bought a 1987 baja 230 with a OMC ford 460 and I have been banging my head since I got it. So far I have replaced the plugs, wires, points, cap, rotor, coil, and condensor because it would not get out of it's own way. Now I have taken it to the lake and it ran very well for about an hour and then it started to cut out on the top end. It idles and starts fine but it won't get the rpm's after 3000, it tries but thats it. I have also changed the fuel/water separater, and added some dry gas. I then went back home and added some gas and went back to the lake and it run fine again for an hour, after that it went back to the cutting out program. The water temp stays around 160. I have also checked the fuel pump and it seems fine. I really thing that I have a fuel problem but I can't put my finger on it. Does anyone have any more ideas. Thanks wayne
