Hello,

My folks have a 92 Four Winns 190, owned since new. Last year they had the power trim repaired. After the work was done, I noticed the control lever (has trim buttons) was loose and the rubber belows cover for the Override/Neutral Rev button thing was missing. Well, my dad said that's the way it was when he got done and that the screw, in the override button, IS tight. But the handle itself is pretty wobbley. It did function fine, just the whole handle is loose feeling....like it's missing some parts.

Anyway, this year the Override/rev button will not work when pushed in. Still shifts and throttles fine, just a hassle when it's cold and you can't give it a little gas in neutral.

Again, it's a single lever, trim on the handle. I just don't want to get it apart and find out I need a part or it won't go back together properly...then we're without boat until fixed. Needless to say, the "mechanic" will not return calls.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Scott
